Band Camp is what I consider the true beginning of the school year. It's hard to believe that camp is less than 2 weeks away. Camp runs from 8 AM to 6 PM on July 29th through August 2nd, with the End of Camp Dinner happening on the evening of the 2nd.
One of the things we as parents like to do for the band members during camp is provide snacks. This offers students the chance to grab a quick snack during breaks without worrying about bringing things themselves each day. Items that are left over from camp will be used throughout marching season. If you are able to donate any of the following, please do so! Jen Gross is our Band Camp Mom so she is the one to contact with any questions (email@example.com). Also, bottled water is still needed. If you haven't sent in a donation of a case or two, please do so during the week of camp.
Goldfish or Whales
Fruit; bananas, apples, seedless grapes (apples and grapes must be washed prior to drop off)
Your student's favorite snack
For anyone wanting to drop off bottled water, snacks, or potluck items (on Friday the 2nd), Jen will be at the back door from 7:30-8:00 a.m. There will also be a large tote located on the sidewalk of the backside of the building.
If your student has food allergies or medical needs, please notify Jenifer Gross prior to the start of camp. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Updates will go out weekly to all band parents and students. If you're not receiving these updates, double check Miss Davis has the most up-to-date email address for you!
