Hi, hey, hello!
Congratulations to the Marching Eagles on receiving Best Music and 2nd place in their class at the Potosi Bi-State Invitational! The work that the students have put into the show has been rewarded both by the achievements they have earned and by themselves - how they feel when they walk off the field. I'm insanely proud of this group of students. Shout outs to anyone who has helped throughout the season in ANY WAY! We could not have been successful without your help and support. THANK YOU! Special congratulations to Alex Hornsey and Brayden Shirley for auditioning and being selected for the ILMEA All-District Orchestra (Alex) and Jazz Band (Brayden). The jazz band concert is on Saturday, Nov. 3 at Belleville East High School and the orchestra concert is held on Saturday, Nov. 17 at Belleville West High School, along with the district band and district choir concert. Also, congratulations to those who were selected in the choir: Jaden Devino and Maegan Greiner, who are also on our color guard, Noah Dunlap, Tanna Hoffman, and Andrea Grey. Concert Band - Concert band begins this week! For those who play different instruments, take some time before school tomorrow to ensure that your instrument for concert band is in playing condition. Let me know if there are any concerns with the instrument. Show Me Dough Fundraiser - Our yearly butter braid fundraiser has arrived! Jazz Band Will begin on Friday, Nov. 2 from 3pm-4:30pm! Weekly Goals Our main goal this week it to transition into concert band. How do we rehearse in a concert band setting?
